Lightbox

Lightbox

Lightbox is a DIY reactive installation. The grindbox reacts with the skaters generating images in real time. Those images are created using Processing, a programming language designed to generate and modify images. The visuals simulate cronophotography, an antique photographic technique, developed to capture movement.

All the visuals generated in Processing are sent through the Syphon library to Millumin a video-mapping software, which allows to map the whole grindbox surface.
